Rosensteiner & Leipzig University Launch Innovative Mobile Clinic

The mobile veterinary clinic was presented for the first time at the Leipzig Veterinary Congress 2026.

As a development partner of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Leipzig, Rosensteiner was involved in a project that is breaking new ground in veterinary medicine. At the Leipzig VeterinaryCongress 2026, held from January 15 to 17, a mobile veterinary clinic was presented for the first time, combining veterinary care, education, and knowledge transfer in a single rolling unit – attracting international attention.

At the heart of the project is a solution developed by Rosensteiner, which integrates the proven VET PRO surgical and treatment station into an extremely compact mobile clinic. Built on a modern truck chassis, it results in a fully equipped veterinary clinic that is practical, functional, and designed entirely for real-world use.

Led by Professor Dr. Alexander Starke, the project follows a clear goal: to make treatments at the level of stationary university clinics available on the move. The animals don’t come to the clinic – the clinic comes to the animals. This concept opens up entirely new possibilities for veterinary care, training, and research.

The integrated VET PRO from Rosensteiner forms the visible heart of the mobile clinic. A rolling innovation that demonstrates how technical expertise, practical experience, and true partnership come together at Rosensteiner.
