This week, 50 second graders got an insight into hoof care - of course with Rosensteiner hoof trimming crushes.
In the barn of the Wasserbauer company in Waldneukirchen, Andreas Rosensteiner gave a practical explanation of what to look out when setting up an optimal hoof trimming place, what mistakes should be avoided and what differences there are when using a drive-through or tilting system.
However, regardless of the hoof trimming system - one thing stuck in the students' minds after the demonstration: hoof care with your own well-designed care place is a MUST, because only healthy hooves carry the milk and thus make a significant contribution to the profitability of a farm.
